Success Mantra of a Popular Dancer, Fitness and Wellness Coach from Ranchi: Siddharth Singh Negi

1. Please tell us about your background in dancing?

hey, I am  Siddharth Singh Negi I used to be a timid person, so dancing came as a complete surprise. I was more interested in athletics, but when one of my close friends enrolled in a dance school and began learning, I decided to attend Pazeb Dance Institute in Ranchi to keep up with them. Over time, I improved and soon began teaching there and competed in various group dance contests.

2. Has your family always been supportive of your decision to take up choreography as a profession?

They haven’t stopped me from doing anything, but I could see the fear and discomfort in their eyes when I started doing it as a profession; there was a time when my father stopped talking to me; even if we were in the same room, we wouldn’t speak or even exchange glances unless it was necessary; friends made fun of me by saying things like kill mere Bhai ka birthday hai Ghar ake Thoda dance KR Dena and other such relatives were like Abbi Bhi shadion me नाचता है? दिमाग ठीक हुआ तेरा या अभी भी नचनिया गिरीही चल ri hai . So it was not easy sometimes mera khud ka motivation down ho jata that but somehow I kept going.

3. As you also make fitness content, What is your fitness routine?

I believe in maintaining balance; my goal is not to become a bodybuilder but to enjoy life while maintaining healthy habits. You will not always see me in good shape; sometimes I stay lean, sometimes I bulk up a little, sometimes I load a good amount of fat, and sometimes you can see the abdominal biscuits. I try to stay disciplined most of the time, but I also go with the flow and enjoy the moment.

4. How did your journey as a content creator begin?

I used to make a couple of videos here and there. When the Moj team saw my talent and spoke to me, I felt compelled to explore this option, and that’s how my content creation career began. And now, I have a family of over a million followers on Moj, which provides me with ideas and tools to help me grow and create more cool videos, and I am pretty pleased with the success and reception thus far. Yes, it took some time for me, but I feel that remarkable things take time, so that’s fine.

5. What is your USP as a dance content creator?

I don’t usually follow trends and instead try to improvise my style in every song, and as an Indian, I enjoy keeping the Desi flavour in my moves.

6. You are also a wellness coach. Can you tell us more about this?

As I already stated, I was professionally involved in athletics and dancing.

When I moved to Delhi for personal reasons, I had no job and had no idea what to do or how to make a living here, so I started looking for work. In the beginning, I worked as a back dancer with celebrities in shows and events, but it became monotonous, so I looked for another job and found a vacancy with Crush Fitness India. Crush Fitness India was looking for dance fitness instructors and training new instructors, so I auditioned, was selected, and gradually began learning dance fitness skills. I was the master trainer and coach in no time, conducting certifications across India and training new coaches. To keep growing and learning and the presence of that sportsman in me, I became interested in functional training and exercise formats such as H.I.I.T, Tabata, and others. As a result, I am participating in online coaching sessions through our portal.

7. Recently, you were a part of the Moj Madhouse. Tell us about your whole experience. What did you like the most about it?

I had a great time there and considered myself fortunate to have been picked from among such a talented number of creators.  Thanks to these lovely folks at Moj for always guiding me; I believe even budding creators can grow. Spending time and creating content with creators from other genres was tremendously beneficial, not just in creating quality content but also in learning new abilities. Each creator had something unique to give, and there was so much to learn from them. I also made some wonderful friends there, and I’ll be using what I learned to improve my videos.

9.  What advice would you give to budding creators?

Download Moj NOW! You’ve got no idea how it’ll affect your life. Having said that, consistency is crucial; don’t upload five videos and then start criticizing yourself; you could become famous with your first video, or it could take years, so don’t stress about the outcome; instead, focus on the quality of your content and keeping constant. Be patient; it’s a journey, and you’ll grow as you go. bas baki to Ranchodh Das changed me with‘ Kaha he hai kamya bike piche mat bhago kabil bano, kamyabi jhakk maar k piche aaegi.’
